Emma Burke – Emma Burke is the only Student Athlete Mental Health Performance Coach. I wasn’t even aware that UNE had one until looking through the Staff Directory page on UNE’s Atheltics Website. I find it very helpful to have a designed person that helps coach student athletics through their personal problems. I think it would be an interesting profile piece considering she is the only coach in this category. I also believe she deseveres some recgoniztion for all the students and their issues she help them cope with enough to maintain a great athletic performance. With this, I can interview student athletes she has helped in the past.
Anthony Ewing – Anthony Ewing is the Head Coach of the Women’s Basketball Team. The reason I have him listed as my second option is because I am very knowledgable on the sport and it is my favorite! So I’d be interested to speak with the Coach of the Women’s team as the Women’s Basketball Team needs more recongition.
Cassandra Sherman – Cassandra Sherman is the Head Coach of the Women’s Ice Hockey Team. I’d like to focus towards a Women’s sports team for this profile piece if I am going to be assigned a Coach. The Ice Hockey Coach would be an interesting profile because I know the Women’s Team have great stats!
