Since being assigned my subject, Anthony Ewing (UNE’s Women’s head Basketball coach), I have emailed him to set up an interview but am just waiting to hear back. I’m looking to chat with him sometime next week. I have done as much research as I could find, this includes reading up on his past team’s stats, the impact he has had on UNE, and his life prior to coming to UNE. This research has helped me to compose a list of about 13 questions to ask him during our interview that shows him I am well informed and prepared. Aside from putting together my interview questions, the research has also been of great use to begin writing my 200 word draft. I believe so far I have a pretty solid start to the draft that opens with all the information I could dig up about Mr. Ewing before getting to sit down and speak with him.
