Peer Review Reflection

I mainly received feedback regarding my personal viewpoint paragraph. How I need to relate to the text and bring in some quotes that I agree with. What I noticed in reading a peer’s work was simple little spelling errors. When on a writing role, you are typing so fast that you kind of just skim over everything you are saying and often slip up, making minor errors. This was helpful because I am going to use different strategies to correct my writing, ensuring there are no grammar errors.

The biggest challenged I faced was looking for the bad when I saw so much good. Obviously the draft wasn’t perfect after reading it. But because I struggled to come up with criticism, that’s what I made it seem like, the draft was perfect. It was easier for me to point out what I liked about the draft rather than what needed improvement. After seeing what comments were left on my writing, I now know what sort of things I should look for when leaving feedback for someone else.
